Life time of loses

From birth I feel as we are set up for loses. From before you're born your relationship with your mom grows daily. The day you are born you are separated. Within a few weeks most kids mom's have to return to work. As you grow out of child hood you lose your innocence. With this loss of innocence so many things change. One you start to realize the world isn't as of a nice place you knew. It's no longer a giant play ground. It's more of a battle field full of hurt and frustration. I just don't understand it's literally like the people that try to lead a good life are the ones that get the least out of life. I know as a christian materialism is something looked down on. But really it takes money to live and survive and to lead a life without stress and heart break. My question is God I do all I can, I try and lead a life that I think honors you. But I cannot get a head I cannot move forward in anything I try. Lord for real please cut your people a break. Please God your word says you will give us the desires of our heart which I have seen you do. Your word also says for us to ask and it shall be granted unto us. Well I've asked so now I am waiting in faith and just don't know where to go from here. So literally some help from this point would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Patrick
